    Minister announces transport regulations

    Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula will release COVID-19 regulations and directives related to transport on Wednesday, 30th September 2020. The announcement follows President Cyril Ramaphosa’s pronouncement of moving to level 1 of the government’s risk adjusted approach, allowing more economic activity which includes amongst others the opening up of international aviation travel.

    Application to declare AARTO Act unconstitutional

    The Gauteng High Court is set to hear an application filed by the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) calling for the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (Aarto) Act and Aarto Amendment Act to be declared unconstitutional.
